Millennial parents: Is it good for fathers to have skin to skin contact with their babies? I'll quickly give an overview of what science knows about skin bonding, the microbiome, and (probably) get a banana smashed in my face. Thanks for watching!

Did you know that you share microbes with your child when skin bonding? There are more foreign cells in our bodies than cells of our own! (Not by mass but by amount.)

We would be unable to survive in this world without a healthy microbiome, that is unless we wanted to live in a bubble our entire lives.

I dive into the science behind skin bonding and whether or not fathers should be doing this with their newborns.

And yes, I do understand that my silly banana antics may have me losing credibility in the eyes of certain viewers. I assure you that I incorporate due diligence in my research and productions. I’m just a weird dude. Cheers!
