Water habitats are my favorite because I love the mystery. We humans are often seeing birds, small mammals and insects on on land. Not many of us venture into our waters and really take a closer look.

I fully encourage you to spend a day checking out your local creek. I’ll give you the tips on how to look and even catch a minnow or two for a quick examination. Take the kids! This is a great opportunity to teach them about biodiversity in aquatic ecosystems.
