Will this story of wrens hit you in the feels? It did for me. Parenthood has its glories and its tragedies, even for birds. Watch two Carolina wren (Thryothorus ludovicianus) parents work tirelessly raising their nestlings into fledglings. Their parental dedication is admirable, even when life offers them great hardships.
This was originally titled as a ‘prose poem’ video even though I didn’t originally write the script as such. Yet the person I first asked to view the draft identified it as a prose poem. Eh, I don’t know!
