Here’s a little adventure where I definitely learned the value of double-checking plans. I packed way too much weight and was in some serious pain. It was all worth is as a rookie angler was able to get a memory that’ll last him a lifetime.

IF YOU WANT TO CAMP/FISH FALSE CAPE:

Be prepared for the 8 mile hike. However, if you can figure out how to get a boat service to drop you off at the docks of either Back Bay or the beach of the Atlantic Ocean then that’s even better. (I was unable to find a service like that readily available.) If you have a lot of gear then bring a wagon as the trail is made for cars (though only park service workers may use motorized vehicles.)
